Quarry Bill Introduced (HB649)  (Archived at Big Library)

The quarry bill (HB649) was introduced by Representative Mclaughlin. The bill would save much time and money by requiring that these high impact industries have local support before they can receive a permit. I urge you to read the bill if you have time, and more importantly make your thoughts known to your legislators. We also need to thank Representative McLaughlin, and the others on this bill for their support. Jeff Martin with AlaLeavs also deserves our gratitude.....see below for some other bills of environmental interest.
